while i've never been a huge fan of the getty's art collection, i do so enjoy the museum grounds. i had the happy opportunity to visit the getty this week with my mom, sister and my favorite aunt, who was visiting from chicago.

most striking to me, as always, was the central garden. if it wasn't for the 50 or so other people strolling along, taking the same photos as me (i've really got to get more creative) and murmuring so softly i wanted to close my eyes, it would have been a great place to stretch out, relax and pretend all 134,000 square feet of flora were mine, all mine.
