what's up with google?

according to my visitor logs, i noticed that someone found mipmup by searching for gays in leather chaps. great. but why is my blog no. 5 in google's search results for that - what some might deem - prurient search?

i'm also damned proud to report that mipmup is no. 1 when searching for "why i love california" because of this post.

what's up with la news? seriously.

why is it that a newspaper 750 miles away (the san francisco chronicle) can consistently scoop all major la news websites? the most recent shining example is this article which was filed at 16:43. the local press didn't have it until about an hour later. um - don't la reporters live here? or maybe they're too busy reporting things like this and this and this.

here it's 62° outside - and windy, too - dammit! thankfully, i am in my office with the little space heater on blasting a full force of 89° lusciousness.

i was wrong! all that stuff earlier was way off track. nothing says "i love you" like a bruised cheek, a busted lip, a heavy dose of denial and a threat to "beat your ass!"
