litmus test.

did anyone else cry while watching wife sw*p tonight? anyone catch the utterly inane laguna beach and think about watching the whole thing? no? maybe it was just a positive litmus test for pms. or maybe it was the fact that my dad argued with me that i was not (not) his daughter today. twice.

Uhhhh -- so w.s. is an originally US reality soap? They adapted it here...and I can just say that I have started cursing tv 'culture'. Would Andy Warhol be happy to know his prediction has come true?
My father had his time where he insisted he was still married to my mother [and not his 2nd wife]. Another time he insisted just having a week-end spent on duty on the base and army truck driving lessons. He remembered names he'd long forgotten. It's all so surreal, but that's part of the way to recovery.
Please don't argue, it's not what will help. Let things be that way for the moment, and really, I can tell you it will be all okay again soon. His memory needs this time to go through, it's working very hard now.

Ohhh. Warm hugs to help you through pms (I am fretfully tearful around that time lately) and a difficult moment in your dad's recovery process. Take care of you.
