What a lovely, evocative picture. I love how the sky looks out west. It is of the west coast, isn't it? Can you tell I'm homesick?
Thx for your comments on my blog. Hmm, my job does have its perks. Which I'm grateful for. But it also has factors a lot of people don't like, i.e., late nights and getting hold of and asking politicians, wonks and regular folks questions on deadline they may not want to answer.I think it'd be fun to be a travel writer, a la Jan Morris or Paul Theroux. I've written a couple of travel stories, but they were a bit more ... pedestrian, shall we say. Nothing like the prose of Morris in her compendium of essays, "The World."
