lonely church.

i took this photo several years ago when we were on a trip to the central coast of california to scout out wedding locations (ah, those were the days). this church seemed to be in the middle of nowhere as we wound our way through the "country." it seemed so lonely out there. it was hot that day and strangely quiet. the graveyard next to the church didn't help it to feel more welcoming. needless to say, we passed on it for a wedding site.
