Sadtree

i always get sad to see something go, even if i don't like it.

take, for example, the tree in our backyard that would scatter an opaque blanket of leaves over the just-swept patio. apparently, our neighbors had enough and called our landlord to have it trimmed. i don't think they meant butchered though.

i really despised that tree and all its evil yard waste. but then again.

i did love its swaying branches, sort of drooping over our patio and sheltering me from the morning rays while working on my computer. it also offered privacy from the construction crew who is building a mcmansion behind us.

unfortunately, it now looks like charlie brown's head and all the construction dudes can see me working in my robe and slippers.

me no likey.

can everyone think good thoughts for giao today?

I was reading your entries at 5 am last night, when the computer was ripped out of my hands by some nasty queen who wanted to access his manhunt.net account. So I didn't get a chance to comment when everything was still fresh in my mind, but I felt compelled to do so nonetheless.
Your writing is so human and honest. The observations you make really get to the core of the matter, and are masterfully synthesized.
I was toying with the idea of my own blog, and reading yours has definitely inspired me to begin mine.
I'm new to all this, so I'm sure that you've heard much of this before. Yet all the same, I couldn't help myself from commenting on how much I was impressed/moved by your ability to express yourself, noble attempts to learn life's lessons, and your conscious efforts to make sense/connections in a seemingly uncohesive existence. Well, I must return to my school work: at the moment, an exegesis paper concerning St. John and his iconography in Insular gospels (very excited!).
Thank you for reminding me that I am not alone in my quirky right/left mind dialogue. Good luck to you, and your search for enlightenment.
