• i've been a vegetarian since 1992 and an off-and-on vegan, but a strict vegan since april 2004.
• my father almost died in august 2004. i was the first one to the hospital half-way across the country. he survived and now has a brain injury, but i have been his primary caregiver since then.
• i'm really into reusing bags. it annoys my better half.
• i'm the youngest.
• i used to think i was wonder woman when i was little. so much so that i ate poisonous mushrooms one day.
• i'm addicted to snacking on walnuts and dried bing cherries.
• i feel inadequate a lot of time.
• i'm a feminist.
• i really love to cook.
• paper is my life. i'm stationery freak.
• i am a loner dottie, a rebel.
• my right ear is pierced five times and my left twice, but i only wear one earring now.
• i'm the political black sheep of my immediate family: everyone else is a republican. don't hold it against me.
• my dog is really popular.
• i don't like to wait for someone to help me with things, so most of the time, i do it myself.
• i love spicy food. the hotter, the better.
• my favorite drinks are cab and ketel one or hangar one vodka (not together).
• i've had cat scratch fever.
