friday favorites.

here are my favorites for this week:

• coral bowls. do you think the whole coral thing is going to be over soon thus reducing this bowl set by 50% of the original cost? i like 'em, but maybe i should wait it out at $98.

• necklace that helps. i think i might buy this for my mom for the holidays, though i'm not sure it will arrive in time. sales from the necklace support women for women international, an organization that helps women in war-torn regions. $24.95 (regularly $129).

• the best spatulas ever. i love le creuset products: cookware, bakeware and their silicone utensils. unfortunately, our medium-sized spatula recently fell apart from the wooden handle after about five years' use and i had to replace it. i thought i'd try the williams-sonoma version and nope. not as good. i just bought a new lime green one (called "kiwi" in their line) and i'm back in business.  i also love their small and super size versions. $8, medium.

• hot spots. no, not the kind your dog gets. the hot pads! these look like they would be much more manageable than my fabric pot holders or one of those giant orka gloves. two for $13.95.

• chocolate brown throw. a throw that's not wool is a throw for me. and if it's in chocolate brown like this one, sign me up! this photo really doesn't do it justice. i saw it at the store and it is really nice. $49.95.
