what's on your list?

recently, i heard this year's banished words list as published by lake superior state university. among the banished words are "awesome" and "we're pregnant." i wholeheartedly agree. those are annoying words and i'll be doing my darnedest to avoid "awesome," which sometimes creeps into my vocab. i don't think i have to worry about "we're pregnant." among my banned words?

• blessed
• bling
• blogosphere
• craveable
• evoo, or pretty much anything rachael ray has to say
• gifted, as in the verb ("i was gifted this book.")
