recycling cosmetics.
i'm ashamed to report that i have a basket filled to the brim with old cosmetics. some items i hold onto for fairly ridiculous sentimental reasons ("i wore that bronzer on our honeymoon!") and others because i can't let go of the cost factor ("i paid how much for that les quatre ombres de chanel?"). that said, i know i need to purge. question: how can i recycle these cosmetics? all of this stuff is past its prime and safe usage period, so i don't want to convert it to a lipstick or blush or anything i'd wear. any thoughts?

Hm. Well I know that MAC gives you free lipstick when you turn in 10 tubes or something. I like the recycling idea of that which is why I always buy from them.
