i mentioned i'm on a baking kick lately and when i popped in to williams-sonoma for a new cake pan for my old fashioned blueberry buckle, i happily discovered their new line for kids, resplendent in bright shades of orange, green and red. their round yellow cake pan ($14) is supercute and in a great, hard-to-find 7" size. i was very tempted by their muffin pan in particular ($12), as i'm partial to orange. isn't it funny how these vibrant pieces are marketed as "for kids?" i would happily buy an entire set of anything in color. well, this is from someone who has an orange kitchenaid stand mixer, so take it for what's it's worth!
